Make A Difference Foundation, Inc. (MADF) is proud to partner with the United Way to offer employees the opportunity to contribute to MADF through the various corporate giving programs.

We believe that when you reach out a hand to one, you influence the condition of all and we all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable and when people have good health.  Together with the United Way we are working to create opportunities for a better life for underprivileged and underserved youth in all communities through education.

During United Way's fundraising campaign, if you do not have a specific organization to direct your contributions toward, we ask that you consider Make A Difference Foundation, Inc.  Join us in advancing the common good in our community by giving our youth the opportunity to reach their goals and full potential. When making your selection, should you not see MADF listed, you have the  option to write in the organization where you want your pledge directed. Named after the late Charlotte Lemons, C.L.A.S.S. is a need based scholarship which awards $1,000 educational grants to graduating high school seniors throughout the states of Georgia and Florida.

The goal of the C.L.A.S.S. award is to give students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or technical institution. MADF hopes to make a difference by relieving some of the financial pressures faced in pursuing higher education. The selection process consist of a four page informational application along with a one to two page typed essay on the topic "Making A Difference In My Community" where the student must identify a need in their neighborhood and describe a detailed plan to address that need. Since this program was created in 2004, MADF has awarded over $30,000 in educational scholarships; ultimately helping numerous young adults continue the path to fulfilling their dreams.

This year, we're proud to welcome to the MADF C.L.A.S.S. award family, Mr. Orlando Camargo (Kathleen HS – Lakeland, FL), Mr. RyLund Exum (Marietta HS – Marietta, GA), Ms. Emily Gutierrrez (George Walton Academy – Monroe, GA), Ms. Teyonna Ridgeway (Miller Grove HS – Lithonia, GA), Ms. Caroline Solner (Alpharetta HS – Alpharetta, GA), and Ms. Shelly Tait (North Gwinnett HS – Suwanee, GA).
